Medpeel Provides 3 different glycolic acid face peel strengths, each with a different concentration of glycolic acid, to address your specific skin type and skincare concern(s):
Glycolic Acid Light Strength 30%
Provides a light strength peel using 30% glycolic acid. This light glycolic acid face peel will only exfoliate the superficial layer of skin, or epidermis, which is helpful for treating fine lines, wrinkles, and mild hyperpigmentation. This light strength glycolic acid face peel is recommended for younger more sensitive skin with a normal to dry skin type and is suitable for all skin tones.
Glycolic Acid Medium Strength 50%
Provides a medium strength peel using 50% glycolic acid. This medium depth glycolic acid face peel penetrates into the papillary dermis (the uppermost layer of the dermis, which sits right below the epidermis) and can be helpful for treating melasma, fine lines, wrinkles, and more prominent hyperpigmentation. This medium strength glycolic acid peel is recommended for new users with a combination to dry skin type and is suitable for all skin tones.
Glycolic Acid Deep Strength 70%
Provides a deep strength peel using 70% glycolic acid. This deep depth glycolic acid face peel can penetrate into the reticular dermis (the lower level of the dermis, below the papillary dermis) and is ideal for treating acne scars, deep wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and for overall skin rejuvenation. This deep strength glycolic acid peel is recommended for experienced peelers with combination to dry skin types and is suitable for all skin tones.
WHAT IT IS FORMULATED TO DO:
Glycolic acid loosens the bonds between cells, allowing old, dead skin cells to help shed off of the skin on a cellular level. This will allow for new healthy cell growth.
FOR BEST RESULTS:

Before Your Peel
For best results, prep the skin for a week prior to peel application with a daily exfoliator such as our Medpeel Glycolic 10% Daily Exfoliator. We, also, strongly recommend conducting a patch test 3 days before applying a glycolic acid face peel to ensure no negative or unusual reactions occur.
After Your Peel
Generously apply Medpeel Hyaluronic Moisturizer Cream or Medpeel Hyaluronic Replenish Serum, on treated skin. It is also important that you use a broad spectrum sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 30 daily to protect treated skin during the healing process. To prolong results from your glycolic acid face peel treatments, we recommend using the Medpeel Glycolic 10% Daily Exfoliator between treatments.
DOWNTIME:
Mild - The Glycolic 30% - 70% peel has little to no downtime, you may see some mild flaking but typically not. The skin may be a bit pink and tight for a few hours following the peel. You can resume to normal exfoliation after one week.
