AHA 30% & Vitamin C Brightening Peel - Light Strength

The Vitamin C 30% peel is a blend of glycolic acid, a widely-known AHA, and Vitamin C that helps exfoliate the dead outer layer of cells and allow the untouched skin below to reveal itself. This light strength peel is most appropriate for a younger more sensitive skin with a normal to dry skin type and is safe for all skin tones. This peel helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, dullness and discoloration, while giving your skin a healthy glow.

Alpha Hydroxy Acids are mild, naturally occurring acids that help soften and remove damaged cells on the skin's surface. Vitamin C, a proven antioxidant found in the skin helps prevent sun spots and lighten the appearance of hyper-pigmentation by helping to fight and prevent age and sun-related damage.

FOR BEST RESULTS

The AHA 30% & Vitamin C peel is suitable for first time peel users, those with a normal to combination skin type and is safe for all skin tones. We strongly recommend conducting a patch test 3 days before applying the peel to a large area of skin to ensure no negative or unusual reactions occur.

Prep the skin for a week prior to peel application with an exfoliator, such as our Medpeel AHA Vitamin C 10% Daily Exfoliator. This will ensure a more even, thorough absorption of the peel acid. Continuing to exfoliate regularly in between peel treatments will also prolong your results.

DOWNTIME:

The AHA 30% & Vitamin C peel has little to no downtime and typically does not produce visible peeling. The skin may be a bit pink and tight for a few hours following the peel. It is important to use a broad spectrum sunscreen daily, with a minimum of SPF 30, to protect treated skin during the healing process.
