Description

WHAT IT IS:
The Alpha Beta Medium Peel consists of 30% Salicylic Acid (Beta Hydroxy Acid) and 70% Glycolic Acid (Alpha Hydroxy Acid). The combination of BHA & AHA creates a more effective level of peel because the application of Salicylic before Glycolic allows for the acid to penetrate the skin better. Alpha Beta Deep Peel Duo -  Salicylic 30% & Glycolic 70%

WHAT IT IS FORMULATED TO DO:
Exfoliates skin and helps to clear clogged pores, oil production, breakouts, blackheads, whiteheads. Minimizes the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and discoloration while increasing moisture retention and promoting collagen.

WHAT IS INCLUDED:• Salicylic 30% Peel (1oz/30ml)• Glycolic 70% Peel (1oz/30ml)

FOR BEST RESULTS:
Before Your Peel
Prep the skin with a daily exfoliator such as Salicylic 2%, Glycolic 10% or the Alpha Beta Daily Exfoliator Set one week prior to the peel. We strongly recommend conducting a patch test 3 days before applying a peel to ensure no negative or unusual reactions occur.

After Your Peel
Generously apply Daily Collagen Complex or Hyaluronic Serum as needed for tight, dry skin. Use a minimum of broad spectrum SPF 30 every day to protect healing skin. Begin using a daily exfoliator in between peels for long lasting results.

DOWNTIME:
Moderate/Heavy - The Alpha Beta Deep peel has moderate to heavy downtime and will produce some heavy peeling, the skin may frost and then darken and peel off in flakes or sheets. The peeling will be very visible and will normally start on day 4 or 5 and last up to 7 days.

Usage & Ingredients

1oz Acid Peels contain 5-7 applications - This Peel can be repeated every 2 weeks or once the skin has completely healed from the last treatment

DIRECTIONS:
Please read complete instructions that arrive with your peel prior to applying. You can also read more about how to apply a chemical peel here.

Step 1: Wash the skin with a gel based cleanser and pat dry. Then apply pre-peel solution using a cotton ball to ensure the skin is properly cleansed.
Step 2: Apply the Salicylic 30% peel to a gauze pad or cosmetic round and smooth it over the desired area of the face, neck or decolletage. Allow to set for 3 minutes.
Step 3: Apply the Glycolic 70% peel to a gauze pad or cosmetic round and smooth it over the desired area of the face, neck or decolletage. Allow to set for 3-5 minutes.
Step 4: Observe the reaction and note the results. During future treatments, you may increase Step 2 peel time up to 8 minutes and Step 3 peel time to 20 minutes. If the skin feels uncomfortable, apply cool water gauze compresses to calm the sensation.
Step 5: Remove the peel by applying the Neutralizer Solution directly over the applied area. Rinse the remaining solution with cool water. Gently pat the skin dry.
Step 6. Apply anti aging serum, we recommend MedPeel Hyaluronic Replenish Serum.
Step 7: Follow with a rich moisturizer, we recommend MedPeel Hyaluronic Moisturizer Cream. Protect skin daily with an SPF of 30 or higher.

"There are no U.S. laws or regulations that require cosmetics to have specific shelf lives or have expiration dates on their labels, but there is a time frame for when they should be used after opening. We recommend using the product 90 days after opening maximum. Unopened and kept in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight, some products can last up to 2 years. While using older products may not be relatively harmful, the product may have lost some potency and may not be as effective as a newer, fresher product."
